Court ordered Rulemaking begins January 26, 2012
and extends for 60 days until March 26, 2012. This is our opportunity to challenge the FHFA’s ban on residential PACE programs by:
- explaining the extensive public benefits of PACE programs
- defending the right of state and local governments to establish them
- addressing the FHFA’s objections to PACE programs
- suggesting a rule the FHFA should establish that will allow residential PACE programs to proceed.

The notice is fairly long and detailed. FHFA asks that comments address a number of specific questions. You can choose to answer each question, narrowly or broadly, but you may also create your own narrative that makes points you want FHFA to consider and that addresses the questions posed by FHFA.
