New launches in San Francisco, Sacramento, and South Florida join Sonoma County
Momentum is building across the US (and overseas, but more on that later) for PACE programs that drive energy efficiency, renewable energy, and in some cases, water conservation measures. PACE Commercial programs are launching across the US. Existing PACE programs in California (Sonoma County, Palm Desert, and Placer County), and the pioneer program in Boulder County, Colorado, have made a total of 71 PACE commercial financings, proving that PACE can be an attractive source of capital to non-residential property owners. A study published earlier this year by Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, the Clinton Climate Initiative, and Renewable Funding summarizes the results of these early programs..
As programs finalize their policies and procedures, this site will post summary descriptions and links that will make it easier for other municipalities and consortiums interested in developing programs, drawing on the experience of those who have.
